so about two nights ago i was driving home from work around 1130, friday night, the streets were pretty much empty to my surprise, normally im not lookin to race after work, as im hella tired and today was no exception. i finally hit some traffic and got stuck behind a late model black silverado he was doin like 35 in the left lane, so i gunned it and went around. i inadvertently caught the attention of a silver civic , no badging at all so it might have been the value package. the light ahead was still red and at the stop we were side by side. i noticed him looking over..the typical 'yea im gansta' or whatever he puts it in neutral and revs, but i dont pay him any attention. the light turned green and he gunned it ( being cautious as both sides of the street were curves = blindspot= very good area for cops to hide and watch) so i accelerated normally at about 20 he was about 2 cars ahead, i floored it easily passing him up...after about 15 seconds, i could barely see his headlights

today however was the complete opposite, i was driving around with one of my friends and i noticed i was in need of gas. so we headed over to the shell station, i noticed this really clean looking late model trans am. black, probably 19s parked a few cars over. my friend gives me a sarcastic ' i wonder who would win if u raced him' , im like he wouldnt give me the time of day and theres no way my altho decently quick econocar would give him any competition. so we headed out to grab some lunch, i hit a red light going down washington blvd pretty busy st but today was very quiet. when a late model transam ( not the same one mentioned above) pulls up next to me. i knew i was gona get my ass handed to me, but i was curious to see how fast it was. so at the light i gunned it, we were side by side. but he wasnt even trying that hard and i was pushing my car to its limits, at about 50, he floors it and pulls away very quickly, i didnt meet him again as i had to turn...but what a rush..!

what year civic? i believe u got killed by the trans am cuz its truly obvious, but i think you're over-exagerating on how badly you beat a civic with your scion tc ...

it was 95-98 model..no clue on the trim, as it was unbadged and a little overexaggeration never hurt anyone =P

Man, is it me, or does everyone seem to be running into TA's and getting smoked? AAAHHH, oh I have pics of my old TA if anyone is interested in seeing them. Maybe I'll put them on the SHOW OFF YOUR RIDE thread. Anyway, good kill on the Civic. Nothing special but a kill is a kill. Late...

but if i had a penny everytime somebody lost to TA or a SS Camaro i would be rich. nonetheless thats not saying much. because im pretty broke myself.
