Cheapest place for H22a

ok im looking around to find the cheapest place to buy the h22a engine w/ 5 speed manual transmission. I do not wanna go through a group buy and wait forever to get it. I want something that i can order and recieve in a week or two. please help me out i reallly need to get this engine soon. Thank you guys and girls

well some i've found for $3200 from group buy places it $1600 and like redime.com i believe its like $2300. so im pretty much just looking to find a price under $2300 for the h22a w/ 5 speed manual trans.

I NEED SOME info on swapping h22a into EK 96-99 civics.

anyone has done it before? what problems might happen?

in asia we get a lot of JDM halfcuts.

b18c type R cost around RM15k = usd4.7k whereas h22a cost around rm6k = usd1.6k.

so now which is more feasible swap into a civic EK then?

About problems? Well its a heavier engine not meant for a civic so your Axels will suffer. You will need to get new stronger axels and beef up the suspension too so you don't get terrible understeer. A full C/O system should work good.

You'll also will need new motor mounts. You will need to get a mounting kit.
