Recent check by AAA car care program found my 2000 Corolla has power steering pump seeping, serpentine belt is dry and starts cracking, and water pump is leaking. Are they covered by the 5 yrs powertrain warranty?
I am disappointed to see these problems for a car only 3.5 years old with only 34K mileage! Is it normal wear and tear, or defects? Appreciate for any advice. Thanks. |

Re: Warranty question.
Belt is most likely not covered. Its a wear item. Water pump and PS pump should be covered in full.
