Focus Converting

Well, I noticed I was tearing down a focus and throwing a conversion at it in the past week or so, so now I can pay a little bit more attention to it seeing as I'm still sketching ideas for my Silvia, and waiting on plumbing for my Nismo Z, so here's my side project focus plans.

Custom Body Kit. (sorta done)
Integra Front End. (done)
K20A Motor Swap. (ready)
Tail Light Conversion. (unknown)
Custom Interior. (planning stage)
And Maybe a Spcial Door Opening Technique.
(suicide, gullwing, a-pillar, etc...)

I'll take some snaps and post them if this project shows interest.

So, I hope it goes over well.

Re: Focus Converting

well, two is enough for me
Colorwise I'm looking into Orange, or a custom Stoplight Candy Apple Red I made.
But I'll take snaps as soon as I find my digital camera memory card.

Well here they are, not much was missed so far
all I did was cut the old front end off, gutted it,
cleaned up and customized the body kit, and added the
Integra nose.
Here's the snaps. Enjoi.

Re: Focus Converting

It just dawned on me, that some people may not know what the K20A is, so I'll explain.
The K20A is a 2.4 DOHC iVtec Engine, bred for use in the Honda Integra R (01-04), the Acura RSX (01-04), the Honda Civic Si (01-04), and the Honda CRV (01-04), it cranks about 154pr rating.

Re: Focus Converting

Im not a fan of the Farcus, but the front bumper swap changes its stance. Now all it needs is to be really clean, and have some trick smooth taillights.

BTW, I love the jack stands.

Re: Focus Converting

hey just to let u know K20s are 2.0l. all honda motors are classifed by a letter followed by there displacment. other examples of this can be found in all B and H series motors, like the 1.8l B18, the 1.6 B16 and the 2.2l H22

Re: Focus Converting

Alright, so far I reshaped the front wells, because the teg nose didnt match perfectly, and Celica tails might look really good, and the chassis, I'm not 100% sure, but I'll think of something when I get around to it, and the Honda Motor in a Ford, simply because it's going a 1 of a kind car, the only thing ford about it will be the body, I'll make a poll of lights I have to choose from.
