New Revell Germany kits?

I found this while browsing a german modelling forum. apprently they're releasing the 612 scaglietti and the old ESCI escort MK II. You can find a link here, although it is in german.

That is the greatest news ever. I even posted a re-release request for this on their website - does that mean Revell AG is listening?

See my Ford Escort RS "Cossack" on the Motorsport models page...

First a kit of the Bentley GT by AMT, now a Ferrari 612 by Revell, we just need a Mercedes CL65 by Tamiya!

I'll drink to that.

And I'm a bit miffed at all the companies that have ignored the Maranello, and now we're getting a Scaglietti...aka "the wife's" Ferrari.

Which models a company makes doesn't depend entirely on the company; they also have to secure the rights with the car manufacturers, right?

I got a flier from Revelle yesterday that said the C6 Corvette and 2005 Mustang will be out next year, and it said nothing about them being snap-tites, that makes me happy!!

Ahh, that 1/12th scale Stingray has been in Monogram's pocket for decades. 1967 Corvette Stingray coupe with a 427, right?

If not, then let the salivating commence if Revell-Monogram broke open the pocketbook to tool up a 1969 427 Coupe.

Anyways, new kits are always good to hear about, and it's also good to hear that new and exciting subjects are getting kits. The 612 Scaglietti is the platform the Maranello's replacement will come from, so who knows what Revell might be planning?

Porsche 944 and Ferrari 365 are reboxed Italeri kits.
The Z1 was already released by Revell GER in the 1990´s. It´s a very nice kit with good engine detail and movable doors and hoods.

I´m still working on two of them.
