Lowering my car...need some hints
...again me
![]() Ok, I decided to lower my car. Ill just go for spring at the moment, which one would u use? And is it a problem if I use 14" rims in the winter months- or longer? Ill go for 4cm lower (I think thats enuff in my eyes)- do I need anythinbg else (I mean really 'need')?? Thx for the support! And btw does anyone of u have any idea how much the installation will cost?!

I would go with Eibach, that's what I'm getting.
14" won't be a problem for the winter months as long as the overall diameter of the wheel/tire is about the same. |

You shouldn't have any problems lowering it 4cm and using 14" rims in the winter. I think it will look pretty cool
Maybe go with Neuspeed or Eibach springs. Installation would cost you about 50-80 euro in Ireland. Not sure about where you live.Post pics when your done.

Get some Eibach or H&R springs. You canīt do anything wrong with them. Iīve heard that ap is very good, too....and not that expensive.

Nice to see a fellow Dutchman with the same ride! I still have the stock shocks and springs on my EE9, do you remember how much the Eibach's cost you? I'm really interested in them. |

And how much did it cost you to fit them? I don't have the tools to do that myself. Or did you do it yourself? |

. I was so mad, grrr, and needed the car for work, so let the remaining work do at my local dealer. It is not 2 difficult 2 do for yourself, but use lots and lots of wd40 before losening the bolts, or warm them up. And get your information from a good manual! I think someone on this forum has this for your car.
