Complete Turbo Kit?

I'm putting on a turbo, i was looking at a T04B Turbocharger, and he is selling just the turbo. What else would i need to get? He also has an intercooler that goes with it. But as far as the tubing and everything else goes, he's not selling. So for me being new to turbo's and knowing very little about them, what all would i need to buy? Or is there a web-site that explains what i will need?

Re: Complete Turbo Kit?

i believe that if you are not buying a whole kit, then good luck on finding some exhaust manifolds not in use. generally people have them custom made for them. it still ends up being pricy to do a fab job, but you can still save money if you get someone who knows what they are doing.http://www.homemadeturbo.com/ this site may give you some pointers.

numerous people end up going with the twin turbo set up with the GT. i would just SC it and not really have any worries. other people should have an idea of how much a custom turbo would be on a GT, i am kinda curious.

Not trying ot insult but your understanding of a turbo set-up seems very low. I would reccomend you just buy a complete kit from a company such as Pro Turbo Kits or if you have very good welding skills goto http://www.turbomustangs.com and spend the next few days reading, reading, and more reading.

That's cool then but welding custom turbo manifolds is not a project for the faint of heart. Take all the time, issues, and skills involved in making custom headers and now triple everything for a turbo manifold(header).
