HELP!!!! aem pulley's on prelude

I just put AEM pulley's on my 5th gen lude yesterday and I have a problem, It makes this squealing noise when i first get out of first gear, but only when I haven't driven it for a few hours, like in the morning, or after I get off of work, It only does it in first gear for like the first minute, then it stops, kinda like it warms up or something. i dunno. i trired tightening the belts a little more, but they are real snug now, anybody know what to do?

It sounds to me like one of the belts is still slipping a little. I'd try tightening them up some more, they may have stretched out some or something like that, I'd also let the engine run a while so that the belts get warm so when you tighten the belts they will be as stretchable as they can. Hey, did you put the pulleys on yourself? I have some sitting at my house that I haven't put on yet. I was just wondering what all was involved and if the old pulleys were hard to get off.

i'll try to tighten them as soon as I get home from work today, that makes sense what you said about warming it up first. somebody on another site told me he thinks it mite be that the belts are too tight. Yes, I did put them on myself, they weren't too hard. I took of the power steering pump and the alternator, and it was a lot easier on me doing it that way. if only I could get rid of these screeching noises, I'm goin to the track tomorrow to see if the pullye's did any good. thanks man
