Teh Prelude and her 1st show...
Ah, this weekend was the host for our local Y-City Car Show. This years show included 39 participants, 5 of which we're half of my car club.
Cars varried from a 53' Thunderbird to a 2001 Grand Am with airbrushed paint and bagged. Here's some pics of the cars from our Club:  This is Butters' car. Ford Escort ZX3.  This is Taylor's 84' Z28. R.I.P. Sad thing is that after the car show, he swerved to miss a deer on a back road and hit a tree. Not totaled so we have some work to do over the winter.  Cody's 94' S10.  Nasty Nate's Eagle Talon.   And last but not least, K-Dog's 93' Honda Prelude. FUNNY PICTURE OF THE DAY:  I am overwhelmed by the irony of this picture. Results: Plaques we're handed out for 20th-4th and trophys to top 3. All of the Members of my club that entered placed in top 20 BUT...   Teh Prelude took all the beef home! Taking 1st place and Best in Show. Of 39 cars my friggin' Prelude took 1st. Imagine that... Not bad for the Preludes first show. Now I gotta get 'er ready for the track. so like, how were the car's judged? cause you body kit ain't even painted...Was it a blind judge or something? I ain't crackin on the honda...just wondering how you 'beat' everyone else with an unpainted body kit...
Edit: and I thought you had a VTEC?? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that doesn't look like a VTEC in there to me. This is coming from a guy who doesn't know much about hondas, but I thought the valve cover was like that of the one in your signature?

Take a closer look at it. The engine is a vtec. It doesn't look like the one in the pic, but it is a DOHC vtec engine in there. Just helping you out K Dog. Oh btw, good job on taking first. Pretty sweet. Late...

Nah, I have an SOHC Vtec and they have plug wires to them. You can search for yourself, but trust me, I own a civic. I know enough about Hondas. Hope this clears up some mis-understandings. Late...
