Another Aoshima S15 Silvia Aero In Progress
Kit arrived today and I have to say I'm impressed:
Chromed lights & brakes, seperate interior panels, front bumper moulded open, rear lights moulded in red/orange & so far fitment has been spot on so far. I've modified the front bumper slightly by cutting out the license plate and middle support and filling in the lower edge with Tamiya Epoxy Putty. The side skirts are from the recent SAS transkit (I think the SAS front bumper would also fit with only minor modification although the rear would require some cutting of the kit bumper). Good progress so far.
You like the kit too, huh? It is a nice kit. I left my front bumper as is except for cutting out the side vents. What color are you gonna do? I have some trouble deciding what color mine is going to be (which is unusual). I was leaning towards Silver Leaf.

It would be interesting to see a photo comparing the Fujimi and Aoshima kits?

I too would like a photo comparison. I really like how they molded the headlights as a seperate piece. Cant wait to see more progress Andy. Keep it up.
