Black on Black Caddy

Here's my latest project. Revell Caddilac Escalade w/wave runner. I took a week off from work to build this for the NNL's in Toledo. The photographers at Scale Auto Magazine liked it so much, they took a few photos of it.
Here's the rundown:
Dub City wheels, Scale Motorsports "Zebra" decals, Dual exhaust, Gray flocked interior, Smoke Gray Pearl flame job, wave runner from the Revell Silverado kit, Dub City TV's, subwoofers, and Playstation controller.

Overall I liked the kit, but the rear hatch need alot of test fitting/ modification before painting.

That interior is Funky! Sweet build throughout. The wave runner is a great touch. Hope to see this in the magazines soon.

COOL! I picked up an Escalade today - that kit is hard to resist! I can only hope that mine ends up as sick as yours, though. The jet ski is a perfect touch, especially with the zebra pattern on its seat, too.

Re: Black on Black Caddy

The black on black is a nice stealthy choice. The zebra seats are a great touch. Excellent build!

Thanks guys!

The flame was actually a template. I sprayed the Gray pearl, wetsand, carefully lay down the flame templet, then two coats of flat black. Once the paint was dry, I removed the template, wetsand, and clear coat X2.
I think the flamed template was made by Model Car Garage.
Thanks for looking and feedback.
