UC: Sileighty / Onevia

My regular modeling shop did not carry the fujimi Initial D S13 Sileighty.
So I purchased a 180SX and a Silvia (both Fujimi) and swapped the fronts.
Sofar I have glued the noses on applied some putty and primered them.
On with the pics:

Re: UC: Sileighty / Onevia

cool conversions

just one thing: the initial D sileighty was an early type but you have a late type SX which has other taillights for example

Nice Conversions! Though i think the wing on the Onevia is a bit APC-ish. But its very clean!

Re: UC: Sileighty / Onevia

About the APC-ish wing... IMO it look beter than the default wing for the Silvia, this one was in the same kit too BTW.
And I'm not such a big fan of the wingless look.

The 180SX comes with taillights for both styles.
The older type, which is What Orion means I think:

Or the 'kouki' tails, which I'm going with:

It doesn't have to look like the Initial D Sil80.

I painted both bodies today. The Sil80 is Mica Blue and the Onevia is Lavender.
I'll post some pics of that tomorrow.
The Onevia still needs clearcoat and I can't deside on the wheels.
I think the Sil80 will get 18" TE37. But I can't deside what color.

Re: UC: Sileighty / Onevia

thats awsome, i love the onevia.

will you have to do custom work on the front windshield? or do the ones from the box fit right in?

I see what you mean. I too think the Onevia with the S13 rear looks better with a wing (GT Wing). I hope you weren't offended by me calling your wing APC-ish
