New life for a damaged model body

so i received a fujimi touge AE86 levin kit and opened the box to find the roof of the body caved in:

i ordered a new body through HLJ who i bought the original kit from and i was about to toss the old body when i came up with an idea - CONVERTIBLE PICKUP LEVIN(!!!). this also started me thinking about custom modifications for the car and other future models i would build, hence the reason i joined this forum. basically i'm thinking convertible pickup with a custom body kit and grill, rims, and exhaust. up until now my customization has just been rims and GT-Wings. the levin will be my first attempt at wild custom modifications.

I would NOT be happy if I opened up a box to THAT! There was a thread here a while back with a photoshop of a Trueno pickup truck...

There's a blue SR5 convertible in town here, made from a coupe though, but looks like crap IMO, and I like the AE86 hatchback and coupes! I'd try the truck, It would be the first!

I accidentally left a 68 Firebird under my desklight and it melted the roof. I was heartbroken; it was my first attempt at a flame job, but will talked me out of throwing it away, and I cut the top with my Dremmel and made a nice convertable drag car. I'm sure your model will come out great!
