Yet another car buying question
Lets start off by saying when i bought my first it wasnt the greatest of decisions. its a 92 ford taurus, as you can tell. i already put too much work into it and it still needs. at this point its running pretty but could always be better. im
Im looking to by something off a lot but im not too sure what. any suggestions. here are the thing that im prefferably looking for: 2000 or newer, manual, 3dr coupe or any coupe, good acceleration and about 100mph or more on the dash. something the could possibly be modified would be nice but not neccesary. maybe even a little economic could, if those are even made. If any more detail is needed to help me out just let me know. id be more than happy to tell you. thanx a lot in advance. |

Re: Yet another car buying question
One more thing woulld i be better off trading my car in or private selling it? i already got a trade quote for 1k which im is subject for change. its got about 134k miles and four bad stabilizers. the stabilizers i dont have to mention if i private sell.
a bad muffler wich i taped up to saond like its good. and a dented hood which i could replace real cheap. lastly its got after marker speakers and cd player i got cheap if it makes any value difference. how much do you think i could on private sell or trade in assuming i hide/fix all its problems? which is reccemended to do? thanx alot in advance again

Re: Yet another car buying question
I think 1k is a good deal for a trade, I don't think you could get any more than that if you tried to sell it.
For a replacement I'd suggest a Focus ZX3 or Mazda Protege.

What about a Mini Cooper?
If you liked the utility and space of the Taurus, try a 2000 Pontiac GTP. |

Re: Yet another car buying question
Ford Focus ZX3. You can get 'em pretty cheap, they're sporty and economical, and they look pretty good.
