carbon fiber + interios
anybody know how much carbon fiber i need for a total carbon fiber interior for a 98 eclipse and how much it costs?

are you talking about the entire dash??? i mean everything? cause they have trim kits for around the radio, and gauge faces and stuff.

well i was thinking that the entire dashboard would look nice but i guess trimming would be nice too.

Well, if your going to have a place Carbon wrap it for you, you'll need a polyster based resin I believe (I think thats what I remember). If theres a TAP plastics near you, they will sell you carbon fiber mat (in a variety of colors) and the resin as well. Then you'll just have to find someone to work with the stuff.

working with carbon fiber is not as easy as you think. you need a lot of things such as a vac pump, poly bags, resins, gel coats. if i were you i would read as much as i can before getting into a project that can seriously messing up your interior. it's sold by the weight by the way. just do a search for carbon fiber / fiberglass and you'll find a list of companys that sell the stuff online.
