altezza install

Does anyone here have a 98 civic hatch with Altezzas? If so was installation easy? Ive only talked to someone with a 92 prelude and he said it was easy, but i was wondering if it's similar with the hatch.
ps- does anyone kno a site that sells altezzas cheap? thanks

try http://www.procarparts.com in most cases putting lights on is always easier than taking them off

I had a '93 Prelude and they were easy as pie.
I've done a '93 Civic too, and it was even easier than my Prelude.

Tail Lights

I changed out the tail lights on my 96 Teg 4 door...really simple, just 4 screws and bolts need to be taken out to get them off. But one thing...make sure when you put the new ones on..that the bolt is on there extremely tight. If its not..when it rains, it will leak into your trunk and cause bad problems. Good luck with the install.

That's good to know....I was looking at mine and wondering how difficult installation would be...as long as the directions are clear that shouldn't be a prob!!

Installation is easy as pie. I've installed new tail lights on my Prelude, a Civic, and a CRV and all of them probably took me 10-15 minutes at the most.

ive put em on my rex and my boys 96 civic, and it was nothing, 30min and your done.

i suggest not to tighten that much, if you over torque the bolts they will snap in half and will be more of a problem, so just tighten em down enough so they dont move, but nothing more.

Yes they're legal, they're even DOT approved.

Yes, that is correct. But there are corrupt cops out there that are just pricks. I got a ticket for one of those and they are dot approved.
You'll win if you fight the ticket.

this is what you do to install...you put them in the clear plastic package. place them gently into the box. tape it. then bring it back and get your 200bux back.

The install for my 96 civic was easy...i bought the APC altezzas(DOT), they didnt come with dirrections but its pretty simple. They even included yellow signal bulbs. Sometimes the wethering on the light sticks to the body of the car and its hard to pop the light off, so u have to give it a push.
