fought back a Scion tC

Took my car out at around 1:30AM last night because i had biggest craving for Taco Bell..........Going up the highway i saw a nice Silver Scion tC Hatchback coupe about 300-500 feet away from me. Eager to finally race these rumored pocket rockets, I floored past it and and flashed my E-blinkers...He hesitated for a minute or so then proceeded to tailgate me. He flashed his highbeamers and swung into the next lane as he tryed to pass me. Anticipating his move i dropped down a gear as my tach needle nearly brushed redline....We were about even when he looked over and gave me the usual ricer look. i gave my horn the 3 beeps and we both matted it..... i was surprised that he was able to keep up with me as he was still visible on my right quarter panel window. With the exit nearing, i banged a right onto the exit ramp where i was dismayed to see that he did not follow....

You need to intercool your ride and UP the boost! Or else you will be forced to pick on Scions and Aveo's for the rest of your life! FMIC's are your friend.

LOL, nice kill, cept flashin your hazards would only piss me off.

I noticed in your sig that you're considering a twin turbo setup for your Echo...I say don't waste the money/time. With an 1.3L inline 4 cylinder, you have no need for any more than one turbo, to be honest. You can find a turbo that would suit your power needs and lag time issues perfectly, IMO.

How much boost do you think your internals can take before you break something BTW? Its cool that you are planning to intercool it ( ), but its gonna suck when some component busts. Perhaps with all these grand FI plans you have, you should get some forged internals.

true i dont thing the engine can handle more than 200HP without major internal upgrades.... since ive seen Scion Xa's and xB's(share same motor btw) have has much as 215 hp.

And yes i drive a Toyota Echo....AKA The ultimate sleeper and still manages a hearty 30-35 MPG city driving......
