Afterschool special

My friend, and I decided to race his mid 90's full size chevy truck (no extended cab with the stock v8 rated @210hp) He's put a cat-back exhaust (maybe headers), throttle body spacer. K&N filter, and aftermarket camshaft. I now have my K&N cone, and I swapped in my oldschool 14" wheels. I weighed my 17" motegi's, and they came out to 42lbs with tire. My 14" were only 30lbs with tire so it definantley made a difference.

We line up "3,2,1" he gets the slight jump but, after 30mph I proceeded to pass, and by 75mph I had a few car lengths on him.

edit: he also had 100lbs in his bed

Re: Afterschool special

I don't like trucks....sigh!

J/K...Nice kill though, good to hear you're finding some races around the area.

I had a late 80's 240sx riding my blindspot for a few minutes last night. I'd speed up, and then he'd speed up. I'd slow back down to the speed limit and then he'd slow down too. Finally I put the breaks on pretty hard so he past me and I could get a look at him. He gave me the stink eye and proceeded to drop a couple gears. I did the same, chirped the tires a bit, and left him behind real good. Other than that, I haven't been able to find a race since KrNxRaCeR00 was in town over a month ago.

But again, nice kill! BTW, when are we gonna meet up w/ youngvr4 and get some more footage?

Probably not.

You get a B+ for effort though.
