The Forum merger

Hello all, I was pleased to see when I logged on at work this morning that the impending forum merger is upon us, Its mystery is only exceeded by its power. Hopefully this will give us all a chance to get a little bigger community going. You guys have been a wealth of knowledge so far and I look forward to continuing it.

Yes, the forums are now merged, hopefully we can get a stronger community going in this corner of AF now!

Now let's just see if we can't steal some membership from rennlist...

Re: The Forum merger

I think they should get rid of the 951 forums because 1: a 951 is a 944 and 2nd no one uses it anyways.

I doubt you will steal any members from Rennlist but most peopel use mor ethan one discussion forums so Im sure Rennlist people will come here too.

Re: The Forum merger

I'm with 951 on this one, I'm surprised it didn't happen.... Since it is a dead forum, maybe just kill it? I think the last thing posted on there was from me about the fact that there were no posts there.... Another suggestion mod?
I currently use about three different forums, so I wouldn't be surprised to find a number of people I know from 968.net or Rennlist here.

You're right, I didn't even notice that! Oh well, there were an awful lot of forums that were merged, shuffled or created, it's expected that one or two mistakes could be made.

We should all thank Aves911, who has put in countless hours recently in overhauling AF.

As for stealing membership from rennlist, that was just a joke, I'm a paying rennlist member, as well as a member of the 924board.org community, I certainly don't want to take membership away from either board.
