Hi, I have a 1982 Toyota pick-up with a 22r and I would like to put a 22re EFI from a 1993 toyota celica into it, is this possible?

Thanks

yea most likely. Same engine except from what I remember the 22Rs out of the celica are shorter. It should bolt straight up. But you're going to need to do something about swaping it from carburated to fuel injected. So of course you'll also need the ecu from the 22RE.

I believe you need to change the oil pan as well for clearance issues.

you sure the celica oil pan is bigger then the pick-up's? Well i guess in any case he could probably just swap the oil pans.
