Re: Could anyone help...

Check the properties of the pics and you'll know it's a Maserati Concept 3. I didn't know it either.

Sorry, forgotten to put the name. Is a Maserati MC12. If I'm not wrong, the blue Carbon one is for race type. In the show, it name as Maserati MC12 concept.

Re: Could anyone help...

MC-12R, I bumped into it (metarforically) at Goodwood earlier this year. The car pictured is the race version, I saw the road going version that will be used to homologate it for GT racing. As stated it's Maserati's version of the Enzo, the early test mule was created from a butchered Enzo. BBR will soon release resin kits of all three variations... the road car that is doing the rounds is pearl white and blue. The pearl is hard to spot in photos, but is very obvious when you see the real thing up close. Didn't bother with photos unfortunatelly as I was there for the race cars, but there should be plenty out there in the big wide WWW.

Re: Could anyone help...

So what's the relationship between Ferrari and Maserati? Are they sharing hardware, or are the cars just very similar?

Re: Could anyone help...

This is like a food chain. Fiat owns Ferrari, and Ferrari owns Maserati. So natrually the cars share alot of the same technology.

Re: Could anyone help...

You friend has some talent there! Thats a beutiful build, hopefully he made a good profit from it. I like the base as well... do you know what kit he used as base, or is it converted from an Enzo kit?
