Faster bike

A buddy of mine and I have an argument that I'm sure people here could settle. He claims that a Ducatti 999 is faster than a Haybussa (GSX1300R). I claim otherwise. So, who is the winner?

exact same rider, not really in a race, per say, but what bike, overall, is a faster bike, lets say, a mile staright run.

I'd go with the ducati, but I know next to nothing about sport bikes. All I know is that the ducati is damn fast and I was LMAO when this guy I met said a 900 hp twin turboed lincoln navigator could beat it in a quarter mile run. Hmm... lets look at power to weight ratios here. 1 to 4... 1 to 7... huh.
