Thank God for Cell Phone Insurance!

I was getting out of a small two-door coupe today, when my cell phone fell out of my coat pocket and into the a mud puddle, fully submerging itself. It's been drying for several hours, but it has died. However, when I took out my policy, I made sure that it included Phone Insurance. So I called up my service provider in California, and was directed to file an insurance claim. I filed a claim over the phone this afternoon, and an exact replacement will be sent to me by Tuesday! Unfortunately, I lost all of the numbers I had stored, but luckily, I've already gotten in touch with quite a few to explain my situation.

Lesson boys and girls? Get cell phone insurance!

I did let it dry, but to no avail, although last night it seemed to be getting surges of power when I'd put the battery back in. Regardless, my new phone should arrive in a matter of days, so I've tucked this one away for now until I can return it, water and all, to the insurance company next week.

Congratulations, but you have also told me that you have lost/broken cell phones in the past? Or were you lying to me?

I have broken them, after a few months. Not within the same month.
