Alot of work i have been told that its not worth all that work. It will cost atleast 2500 for the motor or so when u can spend that in mods and have the same hp as a corba. But if u want to do it ur gonna need new computer the motor all the wiring harness and all that fun stuff.

Mr.Ghost, yeah.....you're in for a project!
Most of what you have in the GT will transfer over to clone Cobra.
It's those intake (Between intake and heads) runners for low rpm torq that'll drive you nuts. That's where the harness comes in. Leave them open and switch the computer module and be done!!
I been gathering parts for my 4.6 DOHC and I'll tell you....they're not cheap.
But I'll Tell you.....you'll feel awsome when GT owners look into to your engine bay with their eyes popping out.
Not to mention the higher performance concerning HP and Torq.

Are we talking bout putting DOHC heads on a GT motor?

Or putting a whole DOHC motor in a gt?

Re: SOHC, DOHC swap

im supposing DOHC heads on an SOHC engine block. iunno about these things, but getting timing, fuel ratios and what not can be time consuming and cost inefficient.
