Question anyone want to see a video of my civic EX beating a prelude SI?

the prelude is a 93 SI with intake, a header, and exhaust...
it's filmed from inside the prelude...if you don't like street racing videos, don't download it.
http://www.geocities.com/blp5k/downl...prelude.si.zip
(right click, SAVE AS...)

if you want to check out my car, go to:
http://5k.zapto.org/96ex/

droppin a engine in a couple weeks
let me know what you think...

later.

Do either one of you know how to race? That was really pathetic I hope that was staged... If it wasn't... the guy in the lude needs to learn how to shift and the guy in the civ needs more horsepower

BTW: I do like the footage though... web cam? dig.cam? 8mm?

i (the guy in the civ) know how to race/shift, but yes...i do need more horsepower. that was my D16Y8. i'm working on my B16A2 as we speak.

it was with a VHS-C camcorder downsampled to hell so it would transfer over the net without taking a week

later.

thanks a lot, man. i didn't like neons at first either, but i figured why not try it and see what it looked like...just don't take it too far (neons everywhere). it took a little bit, but i like the blue on red.

oh, and to the peeps who saw the race...we were only racing at first. i actually slowed down the whole time i was in front to wait on him to pull back up, but...

later.

Dude, it's all about the turbo's man. I'd get rid of the system and start saving and get yourself the turbo

It sounded like the guy in the Prelude was shifting at like 4000rpm, and he would let off the gas every once in a while. And I thought it was funny at the end when he was like "he beat me" when he didn't even know how to drive his car properly.

bro, nice "win". but umm, in all honestly, you would have had your ass handed to you had that guy been a driver. i wish the camera showed the Ludes gauges, i wanna see where he was shifting at.

anyway, that was still pretty cool....
