Talking another 1 bites the dust (bmw)

so i was driving home from school after a long day when a nice bmw 330i approaches me at the stop light so i didnt think nuthing of it, so the light turns green and he floors it? im like wtf? so i caught him up by the time i was at 50 i was passing him and i didnt let off till 70 by then im 1 car ahead of him..
so we line up again.. he revs so i hold the break and gass gona launch the car.. i launch at only 5psi i wanted to see how good i would do at only 5psi.. i gotta tell u it was great, i had him off the line a lil pulled second jumped 1/2 a car pulled third took two cars on him.. he tried to flash his lights to pull me over but i kept going i had a long day at school i just wanted to go home and relax..

CLIFF NOTES
raced a bmw 330i
race 1 caught and beat him by a car
race to launched at only 5psi took him by 2 cars..

now imagine if i launched at 11psi hehe

With the upped psi, what do you think you'll run in the 1/4 mile?

I would think you are faster then high 14s because the 330i is high 14s even with an auto.

you really think 330i's are high 14 second cars in auto form? i know in 5 speed form yes, but in auto, i believe they are 15 second cars. hardly quick for bmw standards.

edit: i just checked and i was correct. the automatic 330i's run's a 15.6 and the 5 speed version gets a 14.6-14.8

just go to google.com and type in 1/4 mile time for bmw 330i automatic. and you will see quit a few pages with it. and all are in the 15's. i also remember in one issue of motortrend where they were comparing the 330i auto to the cadilliac CTS auto, and hte infiniti G35 sedan auto. and only the infiniti was able to touch the high 14's. the bmw and the caddy were in the 15's.

Re: another 1 bites the dust (bmw)

Sheesh, doesn't anyone else go to the track. Take the probe to the drag strip, then you can find out what it really runs. I'm betting on low 15's, maybe high 14's. I doubt that you are running mid to low 14's. Take it to the track like I said. I use to think my former car's were the $hit, till I took my former Z28 and power shifted to a 14 flat 1/4 mile at 102 mph. Not all people drive like pros, except on the internet.

I was about to say. I've run neck and neck with a 330 auto from 10mph (don't ask why 10mph) so mid 15's sounds right.
