Looking great so far Steffen. What did you use for the fibreglass seat?

Great work, I have the same kit in Marlboro livery so will be keenly following your progress.

Thanks for sharing.

This is a piece of fabric of an old sock (don't know if it's the right word?) stolen from my wife ;-)
Glued on the back of the seat with some white glue and then colored with a mixture of clear yellow and a bit white.

More progress: Fixed front suspension and working on interior.

Seat needs a clear dull cote...

What's that? You will not see anything of the brakes/suspension once the tires are mounted! The tires are solid and not really wired wheels. I think I will replace the tires later with real 'see-through' replacements like Scale Production's transkit...
What dou you think about?

Re: ESCI 1/24 BMW M1 Procar

Lookin' good Steffan. Scale in the thread title changed too. I don't think it is a big deal if you can't see through the lattice on the BBS wheels, so long as everything else is okay about them. You can't really see that much through the real ones afterall. It's a shame that not a lot of the seat back can be seen when it is installed. That's modeling for ya!

Re: ESCI 1/24 BMW M1 Procar

Engine and cockpit are looking great Steffen. How much of the engine will be visible when finished? Does the rear cover open?

Maybe you won't see much of the engine once the car is finished... Of course, I'll try to display the engine cover open.
