turbo coupe turbos?

I was wondering if it was at all possible to put the headers and turbos from a turbo coupe onto a 97 gt.
If so what modifications to the car need to be done?
About how much would it cost for the turbos and mods?

You can't use the headers but you can modify yours to use the T-coupe's turbo or turbo's.

Re: turbo coupe turbos?

You'd have to use two of them, the T-bird turbo is a .60/.63 T-3 and would be a major exhaust restriction as a single turbo on an 8 cylinder motor.

Re: turbo coupe turbos?

I would definately go with the twin turbo, but how would i go about modifying my headers to get the turbos to connect to them and also fit between the engine and the wheel wells?
Would it be worth it to modify it myself or should I just buy the cheapest kit i can find?

If you have the equipment/time/knowledge nothing can touch the cost of a JYTT. For more info goto http://www.toohighpsi.com and also http://www.turbomustangs.com
