Hot Wheels Suspension

Do Hot Wheels kits share the same spring style suspension like Maisto kits? I am refering to the Hot Wheels Enzo specifically.

If not does anyone have tips on installing Jada wheels and lowering this kit, it would be apreciated.

Hot Wheels arent to bad

I bought a few of the Hot Wheels models and it is quite a pain to lower them but they give good swaping parts and alot of space to work with, like this CRX Drag car I picked up from hot wheels

Hot Wheels Lowered

Here's my Integra that's completly slammed, not just a body sitting on wheels, it still turns, rolls, and lifts in one peice.

Took time

I wish I had my digital camera during the process, but sadly I didnt, so I'll just try to explain it.

First I cut the wells, then I completely removed the rear wheel mounts and smoothed out a place higher up on the body to place them, and the front was just simple cuts and it dropped nicley, placed springs under the axles to keep the car nice and snug. Thats about all that was to it, took about 6 days and a bit of super glue and bondo.

No, no Hot Wheels cars have spring suspensions and I doubt they ever will.

Re: Hot Wheels Suspension

No, Hot Wheels dont have springs, just a stud with a wheel on it, I put springs under the axles to keep it snug

Re: Re: Hot Wheels Suspension

The racingharts do not come with the enzo normally, I added them on. The stock rims are on the yellow enzo in the sig. I didn't have to change the Black Enzo wheel setup at all, the Racinghart wheels mostly fit in.
