Hello
Can someone recomend me a good beginner friendly airbrush and compressor? Not looking to spend a great deal on it. Just something basic for now. I need something that is kinda in a "complete package" with different types of needles, tools, etc etc. I will be going to Hobby Lobby with in the next 2-3 days do they sell good ones? Also is there a website out there that has decal and flame masks I can print or download off the net anywhere for a 1/24 and 1/25 scale plastic model car/truck kits? Only website I know of is http://www.rcxotic.com/modules.php?n...download&cid=1 and they specialize on R/C Car masks not sure if they will fit model car size. Thanks for any info. |

Re: Couple Questions
RC masks will not fit model cars.

Re: Couple Questions
Well, you could prolly ask them if they make masks for Kyosho Mini-Z racers or some other small R/C's.
My dad owns a Paasche Airbrush, I guess it came with 2 needles (high and low flow) and the color cup, but that's it. Paasche makes great airbrushes, but they're super expensive. |

Re: Couple Questions
You could, however, resize flame graphics and print them out for 1/24 scale cars like you said. You'd really only need a rough length and width measurement.

Those are cool!
I often use MS Word to resize pix, I guess you could do it in paint as well. there's a free program (Irfanview) I think. That is popular as well. Buy a better airbrush and a cheap compressor. The Autoparts stores seem to have compressors on sale for about $40 bux most of the time. The hard part to find is a filter/regulator. I don't think the testors/aztec airbrushes are a good choice for beginners simply because they are a pain to clean, and a clean airbrush is a happy airbrush. Anyway, I was in a HL a couple of days ago and saw a coleman compressor and a silentaire too. I did'nt look at prices or check their AB selection though.
