Deck removal instructions? 1993.5
I decided to go with a used G20 Cd player for the used G20 I just purchased.
Can somebody point me to directions on how to remove my old tape radio? I'm pretty sure I can piece it back together if somebody tells me how to remove it. Easy job or hard you think? Screw locations would be quite helpful. Thanks. |

4 screws in the center console. just get low, and look up, you should see em (two above the radio, and I think two above the HVAC controls). the console (vents and all) should come out. carefull, you have to unclip those buttons at the top (hazards, fogs, defroster) then it should come out. The deck is ISO DIN, which means there will be brackets on either side of the head unit held on by 4 screws (2 each side). Then, unscrew the brackets from the stereo and screw them ontot he new deck. easy.

No, it won't work, the 96 changed the model from the 93.5-95. Things will be a bit different. Sorry, don't have diagram to take out the head unit
