searching for good G20 parts

I'm looking for good quility parts for my 96 g20. I'm not confident in the quality of nissan replacement parts at dealerships.

Nissan doesnt make crap like other car manufacturers do. If you put cheapy parts on your car...its gonna suck. Get OEM.

I don't quite understand what your saying, but if you don't trust Nissan parts, then why buy a Nissan car? If you are worried about how the dealers take care of the parts I wouldn't worry.

I had much confidence in the quality of my new g20 in 96. It's the replacement parts like brake pads, filters, wipers and others that are comming from nissan parts plant in the U.S. that I'm concerned about. These parts are different and don't last as long and possibly don't maintain the car the same.

It has been proven that nissan stock brake pads are the best for the car during street use. Also the stock nissan oil filter is better than aftermarket ones as well, that has been proven. As for a few other parts, you may find some high-performance parts that may exceed nissan stock parts, but that doesnt mean the nissan parts arent good.

It was always my understanding that Nissan/Infiniti OEM parts where imported to USA through the Nissan Warehouse in California and then distributed to the dealers.

With that said, you should not be able to buy USA made Nissan OEM parts like mentioned. Some of the interior parts like plastic dash pieces, door handles, etc, might...I repeat...might be USA made, but not the filters, brake pads, etc.

Anyone else have more on this?
