UK stuff for the P11 and P10

Here are some of the discusssions I have had with NeedforSpeed in the UK. Read if you are interested in getting eyebrows or splitters.
http://www.needforspeed.co.uk

Hello,
The light brows etc. are sold in pairs.
I gave you the dates of the changes on the Primera, as they are in the UK, but as we have only sold the Morette head light kits for the G20, and they fit perfect, we can only assume there is no difference in the styling of the G20 compared to the Primera.

What we have found from experience, is that the face lifts on the models in the UK some times vary from the car in other countries. The Peugeot is an example of this, the models are the same, but were introduced into Greece about 2 years ahead of the UK.

I have mentioned this so when parts are requested, the car can be checked against the picture on the site displaying the part.

We would be grateful of any information we can recieve about the G20, ie, styling changes etc.

In the UK, the Primera, and the LX 1.6 model differ in so much as the bulbs in the head lights are different. The LX has a single main beam and dipped beam in the same bulb, the Primera has 1.8 and 2.0 litre have two seperate bulbs, one for main beam, and another for dipped beam, these are situated in the same light unit.

Please feel free to display any of our parts for the Primera on your site.

Stan
NFS.

Pricing:

The front corner splitters we can provide for the Primera will be universal Part No. CSW275, all the parts except the rear corner splitters which ( non listed) you mentioned are available in black, (needs painting) or carbon effect.
I will list all the parts less vat for you to view.

Corner splitters
CSW275 black, 39.42ukp
CSW9275 carbon, 48.67ukp

Font centre splitter
LCS100 black, 38.25ukp
LCS9100 carbon 44.21ukp

Light brows
LB2271 black 29.92ukp
LB92271 carbon, 35.92ukp

Carriage for one set of each to Canada, 29.75ukp This price does not include any import tax you may be liable for.

--a buddy of mine is bringing the stuff over in July, so I save on the exorbitant shipping cost. Until then ...more chicken wire for me. :silly2:

I checked the prices in USD here's what I got...

Corner splitters
CSW275 black, 39.42ukp ~ 55 USD
CSW9275 carbon, 48.67ukp ~ 69 USD

Font centre splitter
LCS100 black, 38.25ukp ~ 54 USD
LCS9100 carbon 44.21ukp ~ 62 USD

Light brows
LB2271 black 29.92ukp ~ 42 USD
LB92271 carbon, 35.92ukp ~ 50 USD

these prices sound pretty low, especially for some carbon fiber corner splitters...only $69 (USD) is it fake carbon fiber or is it real? and to ship it to canada is only $42(USD), is this right or did I do some wrong conversions

i had inquired with them a few months ago about the eyebrows... they were about $40USD plus shipping...

BUT....

they wont mail it directly to you.. it goes through a freight company.. which means.. before they get it, it goes through customs..

you'll have to pay tax on the cost in US dollars.. import fees, and a customs charge (all at customs' discretion)

then the kicker.. the frieght company will charge you to ship it from their warehouse to you...

the eyelids will quickly become over $100 cost

here's exactly what they told me about the shipping...

Hello Brian,
We use a courier company called ICC, ( international courier
company,) who delivers our parcels all over the world, and
have never lost one. Problem with regular mail is they tend
to lose posts, especially international and we lose the cost.
One thing of note with ICC is they have to pass through
customs, and there will be duty (taxes) to pay and customs
charges. You may also have freight cost from ICC to you.
You would be responsible for all the charges.

Thumbs up

I suppose the most cost-effective way for us to get these parts is to have them ordered and shipped in a bundle . . . then once the arrive, who wants 'em, gets 'em . . .

"group deal"?

I guess those currency conversions are right...but is all this carbon fiber stuff they have, real or fake? either way, i'd probably still get some corner splitters sooner or later :flash:

yeah... actually had my uncle who lives in portugal order them (eyelids) for me from need for speed... he also had gotten me a Primera badge and i'm waiting to see if he can get me the GT one too...

anyway, i think the package may have finally gotten here today (what a coincidence) but FedEx left me a failed delivery attempt note on my front door... so i'll find out tomorrow for sure if thats what it was..

i ordered 3 sets cause the ones i had made werent the greatest cause they were custom, and i had cracked one anyway... so i wanted new ones.

one set for me, one for a friend, and one for another person who i'm not positive if they're interested... if not i may sell the last set in the forum... not sure on the price yet since i havent figured what the total cost was to get them...

b-bOOgie....let me know about the eye lids as you know i have been tracking them down for a loooooong time and the price you may want.
I'll see what the exchange rate is,see if it's worth it and what we can do as it may be easier to get them off you.

I'm about to give up on this bloke here in NZ making them for me as they are crap. Here's had 3 goes now and i'm still not getting what i ask for

Cheers

when i talk to my uncle again, maybe i can have him get me some more, but i'd need anyone who was interested in them to send me the money before i can order them....

i'll see...
