Girls...opinions
Hey there.
Just curious to know what your opinions of this are: One of our AF members formerly with PH like myself, well we used to reguarly post with eachother since like June last year, and by chance I found out that this member and I knew eachother when we were very little, and that we did Tae Kwon Do together. He had no idea who I was and I only remembered him, because he has a twin brother. Because I was buying a unit in the main city he lives in, he wanted to meet up. So I stopped by and said hello. I was also down with my best friend deb, and we just went to the local maccas and were chatting and stuff. He seemed like a nice guy, and we talked a while, then it was getting bad weather so I decided to head home, and told him I'd let him know if I was in the area again, etc. I didn't see him as a potential boyfriend or anything, just as a friend. We started sending a few emails, and I stopped by and showed him my car another time I was in the area. The way he was talking, was like he' been sitting there waiting all day for me to visit, and it sort of freaked me out that he remembered everthing. ....I'll continue on next post.

Yeah, so one of the last times I saw him, I told him he should start looking for a better job, as he didn't want to be working at the restaurant forever for his uncle.
I got the drift that he liked me, and was really paying attention to everything I said. He asked when I was free, and I said possibly next week, and that I'd let him know. When I spoke to him the next week, he said he would be coming to Sydney, and staying with his sister....although he said he had a job interview.....I was very shocked as only a few days earlier I advised him he should go for a better job. He said his sister was a team leader at a call centre, so she could help him apply. I told him, if he had time to pop by, and he said he wasn't sure, but he'd call me after the interview. He never called, and I couldn't be bothered. I thought...it was funny he wanted me to let him know everytime I was in his area, and the one time he came around to near where I live....he couldn't spare 5 minutes to drive up the road and say hello  So I haven't spoken to him, since like October last year....and he disappeared off the face of the planet..... Then suddenly by chance I found out he is back on these forums...under another nickname...and he hasn't told anyone in the Asia/Pacific forum its him, even though we'd been chatting with him since last June.... He's trying to be sly or something.....or just an arse Opinions please....thanks

Also I haven't told him that I know who he is.....I'm pretending to not know............and I was thinking when I finally organise the AF meet we are going to have here....of sending him an sms to his mobile, inviting him and his brother to come along....and then writing...but I'm sure you've already read it on the forums....
Sorry for the essay....but its annoying! Need to vent! What would you do? I can tell you who it is if you like, and maybe we can all give him a hard time :hehehe:

Hmmmm... Well, I'd provide some advice, but I just managed to ruin not one but two "romantic relationships" within one week. I feel rather unqualified to help. :o Sorry.

Hmmm, well if he is going to be jealous of your income, I might steer clear relationshipwise. If he's gonna brew over that, life with him will be miserable because he will get obsessed about it, and pissed off, and make it an issue. If your making more $$ than him is going to bother him then he should make an effort to either get over it or find a better paying job or go to school and get a degree.
I watched firsthand, a good friendship fall apart a few years ago due to jealousy. We used to have a friend that let jealousy get the best of him. If someone in our group got something that he couldn't have or something that he wanted for himself, he became childish and selfish. We tried talking things over with him several times but to no resolve. Sadly he lost most of his friends because of it.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Thought I would give you all an update.
Seems he has started acting normal again, and now speaks ENGLISH  Yeah, so we PM and stuff, and he speaks to me like a normal friend again. Think he realised everyone got the shits with him for acting like someone he wasn't. Oh....and the latest.....I guess you can say I'm seeing my cutie friend....even though we don't see eachother heaps, but we talk every few days or atleast once a week. We've met up a few times now. Are you proud of me...I got through the 3rd date! (Big thing for me) - I'm so picky that's why Anyway...he's really sweet. He pays for everything, won't let me pay, and gives me this "don't you dare look" when I attempt to. I'm pretty happy...just wish we could see eachother more, but its still hard because of work. He's so adorable and sweet though
