Re: SVT Lightning or a Srt-10 Ram

I go with the SRT-10 mainly because of my preference for Dodge (Even though I drive a Chevy) and because that V-10 engine is just soo sweet.

Re: SVT Lightning or a Srt-10 Ram

I'd take a Lightning any day of the week. It costs thousands less, money which could easily take care of what few deficiencies it has compared to the SRT-10.

I choose the Lighting I look the look better and the dollar/performance ratio is reaonable. Althought the SRT-10 is cool as shit and badass. It is just way way too expenisve for what it is in my opinion. And like said the thousands saved on the Lighting could be spent to easily catch up to the SRT-10.

SRT-10 by far. The only advantage the Ford has is it's price. I like the Lightning a lot but it just doesn't compare to the Dodge at the moment. The Silverado is kind of a joke in this thread, Chevy took a real half-assed approach to that thing.

SRT-10. That's the easiest decision I've made today.

I'm gonna go with the SVT Lightning. It's much cheaper and better looking.

Re: SVT Lightning or a Srt-10 Ram

well yeah i know it has a viper engine but i read from a magazine and it said that the srt-10 hits 154 and the lightning 147 so thats pretty go for the lightning having 380 hp and the srt-10 hits 154 with 500. is this true?

Really gotta go with the Ram srt-10...its more of a real tough truck for a niche vehicle then the smaller, less rugged lightning... I think the Chevy SSR sort of fits in the market and should be compared as well

The top speeds aren't going to have anything to do with the engine. That's most likely where they're goverened at. With a heavy truck, no weight in the rear, little aerodynamics, and a solid rear axle it probably isn't too safe to be doing 180-200 mph (which you know some idiot would try).
