Subaru Impreza WRC 2001; Progress

Here is the current model that I am working on. It has been awhile since I have worked on one but hopefully it will turn out as good as or better than the two models I did over 7 months ago.

I am going to be doing this model without all of the lights. I think having all of the lights on there looks like crap

Hopefully later on today I will be able to post some pics of what I have done so far.

Good luck with the build Moe. You could always make it so the light pod is removable, then you can have the best of both worlds

Looks good so far. Will you make it as Burns' or Arai's car?

Here is a current update. I just finished painting the body. Hopefully I will be able to paint the trim for the window and put some of the decals on tonight.

Let me know what you think

Re: Subaru Impreza WRC 2001; Progress

If you only just finished painting the body, I wouldn't start painting window trim and decalling tonight.
Wait at least 2 or 3 days to be certain the paint is dry.

Re: Subaru Impreza WRC 2001; Progress

I said that all wrong. I did paint it 3 days ago but it just came out of the tuperware container that I store it in while it dries. I actually would never take a picture of a car right after I painted it. I paint it and it goes straight into the tuperware container. So I will get minimal dust particals to settle into the paint.

Sorry about the bad post just in a hurry.
