Unhappy Couple problems maybe you guys could help with.

I have a couple problems i'm trying to get fixed with my car.
1st. When i went from a automatic tranny to a five speed i obviously had to put in a new clutch, pressure plate, flywheel, ect. I put in a clutch cable the first time and it was pretty easy to depress but that one broke and i had to get a new one. When i installed the new cltuch cable i went to push in the clutch and it was really hard. It didnt bother me for a while but it gets old in traffic pushing in a clutch that's that hard to push in. Any suggestions on what i might have did wrong when installing the second clutch cable?
2nd- Also, when i changed it over to a T-5, the speedo gear went in the tranny but it wont hook up to the guage right. So it always register's 0 mph. I dont know what the hell's up with that? Any suggestions on that too?
3rd- My windshield leaks pretty bad at the top. I guess the dumbass who put it in forgot to seal the top too. But should i just seal the top of it or should i let someone else do it? It's really only two spots that need to be sealed but it lets a good amount of water in, and it pisses me off because i got a new tach i wanna put in there and cant put it in until i get this fixed. Plus it smells pretty bad after it rains a good bit and all that water gets inside the car. Thanks for your help in advance.

For your clutch problem, I would go over the cable from top to bottom and make sure nothing is pinching or restricting it in any way. Maybe you can get someone to push your clutch while you watch it to see what it's doing. It's wierd that your first cable worked easy, yet it broke. Makes me think that even though it was easy to push, something must have been putting a pile of weight on it, Enough to break it. But you should have been able to feel that kind of weight on the pedal.

2. Not really sure what your asking...

3. Does it leak into your car at the top? If so then they can pump silicone into the top but it will only last a few months. The problem is the water rail around ya windshield up top has rotted out in some spots and that is how the water gets inside.
