sr20det how much boost is too much ???
Hi guys ive tuned my car to a certain extent and now im gettign a new turbo and cooler on, the problem is i dont know how much boost to run
The turbo is gonna be a little larger than to4e but the point is how much can stock internals take ??? Up to now everyone tells me 280 bhp - 1 bar any more and you will blow it. but the past couple of months all i see is 1.4 bar is fine 350 bhp on pump gas stock internals. Help me out i dont wanna throw a rod or blow a hole in my pistons. How much boost and what kind fo power are we looking at here. I will get necessary fuelling mods (larger injectors maybe pump) I already have an s-afc. Lastly if i run the boost you guys reccomend, and have a good a/f ratio and watch out for detonation , i should have no probs rite. |

right, properly tuned, u safe at 19lbs boost
