obx exhaust?
have you all heard anything good about these exhausts?

there is a good deal going on group buy center and i was thinking of picking one up. so what have you all heard about these?

i have one. its loud as shit, and barely did anything. i suggest save your money and buy a cat back like i will since i wasted it on this dinky muffler.

OBX are generic, loud ass, cheap mufflers, don't waste your money.

i was going to have it custom piped so why would i want to waste more money and get cat back exhaust if i could get custom pipes for less.

OBX mufflers= bad sound, bad quality, bad looks. I'd go with a 5Zigen Fireball or N1 universal and do 2.25'' mandrel bend stainless steel piping.

my friend just got an obx muffler. he got 2.25 piping done at a muffler shop too. at first he didn't really like the sound but now after a month he likes it better caus its more broken in. its not as throaty as his greddy knock off muffler he did have but its pretty decent. it looks good. the added power kicks mostly in at higher rpm, but he can tell a difference, more power than just a muffler alone. also obx mufflers have a good warranty.

also that same buisness on group buy center (massive motorsports) has obx 2.5" high flow cat's for $55 with a life time warranty. i'm gonna get one here in a few weeks.

I've got an OBX silenced muffler because the police harassed me so much before. Anywayz... I think it looks pretty good and I like the quietness of it. I know it doesn't offer performance... but come on... I drive a CX.
