...or exhaust manifold

So was the problem a disconnected O2 sensor, or is the light still coming on?

no.... the light is still coming on and all o2 sensors are hooked up and ready to go, i think that between having a cold air intake and a high flow exhaust it is probably running to lean, and the ecu is sensing this i think ineed to get more fuel into the injectors now.

Re: new obx exhaust = check engine light

how about you check the codes.....there will be a red light that blinks count how many times it blinks and check it up online or in a car specific manual to see what the codes mean

Note: it sometimes will display more than 1 code there will be a gap inbetween them

no way the engine would run lean becuase of an intake. exhaust has nothing to do with the a/f mixture.

sometimes if you mess with the O2 sensor they don't read correctly. Might want to clean them off before you put them back in.

Re: new obx exhaust = check engine light

i took the O2 sensor out and cleaned it and reinstalled it, still the light persists. i'll probably take it Autozone and have them look at for free, now i'mbeing told that the MAF sensor is probably tripping due to the intake and exhaust mods, never had any problems with my 93 Vigor GS so this is starting to pi*s me off.
