Is it possible for a modern 4.6 engine to vapor lock??? Yesterday, I drove my usual 40 mile commute home in 95 degree high humidity heat here in Texas. Decided to stop at a convenience store for a pack of smokes. Went inside, came back out and the Stang would not start...Chugged a few times at first like it was starving for fuel then would only crank....after about an hour, I finally gave it one last try and it fired up just like nothing had ever happened....Any thoughts here????

You already asked this question. Its been answered to the best or our abilities without and further information. But yes a EFI system can still vapor lock. |
