where'd you guys get your wheels?

where do you guys get your aftermarket wheels and brakes for your tamiya 1/24 models? ive tried looking on hlj in the tamiya section, but there's only one set of wheels they sell. so where do you guys get them?

this must be a real newbie question, but ive already tried searching AF for it.

Try searching under a different brand or just doing a general search of all brands.

some might take a bit of coaxing but they've worked for others, you might want to ask PrimeraMan or Guiddy.

Well, with some work they would. Try searching for Fujimi wheels.

Fujimi makes the most after market wheels.
They are mostly different to to Tamiya one.
You either have to make small bushes or pins for them to fit.
Takes a bit of mucking around, but with a little time and effort you will work it out. Some of them have instructions with the wheels you buy as to how to fit them to help out.

Don't forget, Aoshima makes some, too.

Then there's a bunch of non-japanese companies that make model parts, too! That's right, I said non-japanese!

Detail Master, Model Car Garage, Pegasus Hobbies, Hoppin' Hydros are just a few of the companies you can find.

Some are very simple cast plastic; some are very high quality machined and photoetched metal and come in many pieces.
