Re: where do you guys get your parts

Performance or stock? I use rockauto.com for stock parts they are cheap as hell and have super fast shipping on more than one occasion i have gotten the part the next day wth standard shipping.

Are those stock rotors?!?! You shouldn't use ceramic pads cause they wear the rotors too quickly (the pads last long thats why they have a lifetime warranty) Thats pretty high for stock rotors. I got front axxis semi-metalic pads from rockauto for like $35

semi mets are alot harder on rotors than ceramics. Most cars come stock with ceramic pads

Re: where do you guys get your parts

The rotors have a 2 year warantee. SO if they die I take them back and change them. Usually every winter when I put on snow tires I would change all my brakes at the same time and swap out the rotors. The local autozone is pretty good when they are even a bit warped they take them back and replace them.

I always get my money back. They were made by another company but they are designed to be like the stockers same metals and stuff. They aren't drilled/slotted in any way.

I switched to ceramics on my old spyder and it didn't seem to effect the rotors really. I had them for almost a year on my old spyder. So I put them back on this one. They don't throw much dust which is a very nice thing. For example when I bought this new car the wheels looked pitted and black they were just dirty from brake dust and a crappy dealer that didn't wash the car.

Re: where do you guys get your parts

Here's some companies that make rotors: EBC, Kazera, Brembo, Powerslot.

Re: where do you guys get your parts

Almost every single upgrade on my car, from the rims to the block, was purchased from E-Bay. They have some good looking rotors too, and ocassionally, someone's selling an AEM kit for peanuts. Just have to keep an eye out.
