I wish there was a way to forewarn people that that computer will never run correctly on anything but a 94-95 5.0 with either 24 lb injectors or a specially programmed MAF meter. And that there are a lot of quirks in that computer that make it undesireable for those who are too lazy to run a TwEECer or EEC tuner.

Re: Super computer

Grab a couple of JDM ground cables while you're at it, I hear they're worth 50 HP

Re: Super computer

The TwEECer R/T only ends up being about 100-200 dollars more expensive than a PIH ends up being. The standard TwEECer is cheaper than most PIH swaps and still a hell of a lot better.

I looked at your old post, and you spent $460 on a PIH swap. TwEECer standard models are $380,andTwEECer R/T models are $550. That's only 90 bucks, and you could have had nearly unlimited adjustability with realtime datalogging capability, instead of just an older computer.

You don't even NEED a laptop, I tune mine with my desktop. Just looks kinda funny with a wire running out the window to my car...

Re: Super computer

Uhh, I know it's a lie, because J4J1 is the stock 94-95 Cobra Computer. The same one that's on my car stock. That's why I said it won't run right without a specially cal'ed MAF or 24 lb injectors....

Ok wait a minute, we need to clear a few things up here.

The cobra computer or J4J1 is set up to run on a mass air meter that is calibrated for 19lb injectors, the same one that comes on the GT. And it needs 24lb injectors in order to run properly. The reason for this I don't know but computer makes the necessary adjustment. (I know this for a fact). Now the T4MO or GT computer needs the mass air meter to be calibrated for whatever size injector is in the car.

And as far as the Tweecer is concerned yeah you are right, course its a little late now. This thing was driving me nuts. Well bottom line is I am very happy with the way my car performs with the PIH. So whether you go tweecer or PIH either one is a hell of a lot better than the stock computers.
