My Tamiya Lancer EVO VI (lots o' pics)

Not done yet but I did a lot last weekend. I'm letting the paint cure for a mad long time before I cut it back and polish. I'll probably let it sit for another week or so. I'm done everything else except for the body. This kit is a suprise for a friend. I'd debated giving this to him but along the way I cut a couple corners that I wouldn't have do were it mine. He'll never notice.

I've dropped a couple hints in the last couple months about which car he would get if he had the money, which color shtuff like that. So his choice was white. I kept the stock interior since I think it looks nice on the white. Masking the interior was a real bitch. But I think I got the hang of it near the end. Just have to have a nice SHARP knife if you need to trim any mask.

Gotta Love those seats!

The suspension detail on the kit is excellent. It was a real joy to put together. I've done more masking on this kit that any other.

This is the first time I masked and air brushed every part of the breaks! It was easier than I thought and they came out really well.

Some shot with the body on.

So far I LOVE this kit. I'm going to have to hunt down another one for myself. Dan if you like the R34 I think you'd really get a kick out of this one too!

Not this one! When I build mine I'll probably drop it a bit.
