Primer spraying clear?

I was airbrushing some primer on my Mini Cooper model and my Civic's interior and the primer showed up clear on the plastic and left this weird texture behind and I'm really pissed off. I was using Model Masters Acrylic Primer.

Re: Primer spraying clear?

What color was the primer meant to show up?
Did you use the right thinner with the primer?

I didn't thin it. It looked like the consistency of milk so I thought it would be fine. It was supposed to show up white.

Re: Primer spraying clear?

Did you mix it thoroughly before spraying?

The pigment and carrier agent may have separated and if you didn't thoroughly mix them before hand you may have just been spraying a lot of carrier agent with very little pigment.

Actually, I was just confusing it with the texture of the plastic. It didn't actually leave a texture behind. I'm gonna try and pick up some Tamiya Primer because this stuff is junk.
