first you cut the tips off, then you cut the mufflers off, then you cut the cats out, and you will have some LOUD ass exhaust. but that isnt legal BTW:smoka:

Sorta sounds like my exhaust setup.

Longtube headers --> Off Road Pipes ---> Thru mufflerless catback.

Basically, I'm running open headers with pipes that extend to the back of the car. It's REALLY loud.

I was going to hold my opinion of you Blackbird01, but that post summed it up for me.

Question UHHH

If you want loud just put straight pipes from the headers/exhaust manifold. In MS, nobody cares how loud crap is. NO emission tests here, either.
If you want performance it just depends. You will only gain a few, FEW, HP over another type. But it really depends on the car you have. Do you need alot of back pressure. What car do you have?

Skyline USA: What's your opinion of me? I'm kinda curious to know

I think the best performing exhaust would be to run Longtube headers into an off road x pipe into a set of mufflers. This will give you good performance, and it will be quite loud.

The only reason I'm keeping my car as loud as it is, is because its given me the best power gains. Talk about free flowing exaust. How can you have any restrictions when you've got no cats and no muffler eh?
