New Drifter

Im 16, unliscensed, no permit, however, I did my very first drifts last nite and I think I may be hooked...it was just in an empty parking lot and not on a drift track but it was stilll fun. I just wanted to let everyone know theres a new drifter in town, expect me to be doing it legally soon.

By Legally you mean at a sanctioned drift event right?

Not in a parking lot, which is still illegal even if you have a license.

I'd suggest not learning to drift right off the bat, learn to drive first. But whatever floats your boat.

exactly...before you try and drift you should try and drive first...and don't say that your a good driver, unless you think that a good driver is someone who can go fast.

Re: New Drifter

O i dont feel im a good driver, lack of experience. I just know how to drift cause my buddy showed me how a while ago...and i finally got the chance. I dont plan on consistently driving, and I would never go on major streets until I have my permit because i would not want to endanger other people

Re: New Drifter

What? did he teach you how to yank the ebrake when you turn or something?
If you don't know how to drive, how do you expect to drift???

So going on major streets and drifting with your permit wont endanger other people?

Re: New Drifter

does being an eDrifter count?? i would seriously say ur not a drifter for pulling one drift...i wasn't there and i'm assuming that it wasn't a drift to begin with...

just say ur learning how to drift and that bystandards and light poles should watch out
