a lil off topic but would like some imput...

a friend of mine is looking for a 96+ MTX ecu for his 96 probe, he's doin a auto -> man swap and there aren't any around here... i was wondering if anyone knows of a place on line to find one.

and why the hell is he trying to hot up a probe? i mean please, my 27yr old Trimph used to run rings around them.

manual transmition... eh its his choice... and oh yeah its the inline 4 engine too non turbo haha... can't wait to line up with his ass and show him what a honda can do

We only got the V6 ones down here, I hate to think how slow the 4s would be.

Are there no wreckers in your area with Ford parts? surly you might be able to find one willing to swap. You could always try Ford, but I hate to think how much they would charge for a new ECU.

Otherwise have a look in the Probe forum here at AF. I dont know how busy it is, or ifs even ever been posted in, but its worth a try.

he said the fastest he's ever got it was a lil above 105 so i know the si has more top end... he said none of the wreckers around him have any... i haven't gotten to check the ones around me...
