1. You don't have $500 for a diecast car. If you do, give me your address,I'll pay your family a visit.
2. These threads sound nice but they need pics.
3. This one is almost identical to the EXT thread.

Re: ideas needed for a 1/18 maistio 2003 hummer h2 suv

since its already been mentioned, ill just finish it off. if you have 500 dollars to spend on a diecast that cost not even 20 dollars
1-you are incredibly rich, or incredible stupid
2-if i had 500 dollars to spend on a diecast, i wouldnt, it would go towards a car, or school
3-if you spend 500 dollars on a diecast model, then you spent way to much. i dont spend more then 20 dollars on a single model

now thats out of the way, you say you are going to do lambo doors to alot of your customs, have you? or did you just write down some ideas on a piece of paper? the amount of work you would have to do to the body to make the doors go up is crazy, you would have to reshape the doors, reshape the roof line, reshape the door frame, and still make the hinge for it to work. or if you design a hinge that allows the door to come out a little then go up into a lambo stance, then bravo because many have tried and all the people i know have yet to do it, myself included.

i had alot on my mind and this just came out, dont get affended, its just that 500 dollars is way to much to spend on customizing a diecast, and ill need to see the lambo doors before i believe it

FYI- spoilers on a Hummer is a no no

How many people said they want lambo doors on a h2?

Its pretty impossible if you dont know what your up agianst... its a maisto and the stuff on them are pretty challenging.... all these things sound great but dude... no one can believe you if you dont got pics... im not saying nothing trying to offend you but you need proof

1. It's his car. He can do whatever he wants with it.
2. I haven't seen an episode of 'Pimp My Ride' where color shifting paint is used (I prefer to say that instead of butchering chameleon).
3. Yes $500 is a little much to spend on a Maisto, even if you are customizing it. I wish I have $500 to spend...
4. Spoilers on any SUV...

Let's face it. There will be people that customize cars that look good to some and be ugly as shit to others. Let's not ruin it for Donny.

(Donny, you can get a decent camera for under $200 and still have enough to customize it and stun your friend)

FlySkyline, how much did you spend on your project?

Re: ideas needed for a 1/18 maistio 2003 hummer h2 suv

i think $500 is a bit much to spend to customize a diecast too... also, the reason there aren't any pics is b/c he hasn't done anything yet... i think he was just throwing out ideas and wanting ideas from everyone as to what else he can do...

i personally feel that Lambo doors are being played out...not in the diecast world, but in the car customizing world... i went to Custom Compacts at Harrisburg this year, and everybody that had tricked out doors all had Lambo doors... it was getting old... a couple years ago it was the flip-flop trunk... i would try to think of something different than lambo doors... like maybe do gullwing doors like on the DeLorean...i'm not sure how hard that would be, but just another idea...

I know he hasn't done anything to it yet, but in a previous post he said he didn't have a camera; so we're just helping him out with that (not to be rushing him or something like that...)

Gullwings on a truck? Man, that's gonna be sick...

Just got an idea...

Donny,
Do you have one of those really small portable radios? (I'll post a pic of one later) You can probably use that and somehow fit it in with the Hummer. That way you can say you have one with a working radio...

Cool! Can't wait to see this $500 "Budget" hummer MODEL!

let's see what the lambo doors look like. Maybe you can save the money from a couple of "expensive" projects and get yourself a nice one right?

Hmmm lambo doors, neon underglow, chameleon paint, euro lights, and a spoiler...Why don't you add a turbocharger too while your at it, that will make it really ricy.

Adding a turbo does not make any car ricey, so get that out of your head.

Even though the H2 is quite the size, I don't think there's an actual TV small enough to fit in there, hence the radio...
